As a response to the plane thing, it would NOT burn. The reason things burn up in the atmosphere, is because objects in space move VERY FAST and when they hit the air around the earth, the friction literally melts them. Planes do not move fast enough to burn up based on the fact that they do not do so even at lower (and denser) elevations. HOWEVER a commercial plane could not make it to space! Commercial planes use plane turbines, which actively produce thrust by pulling air from in front of them and spitting it out behind them! Because of this, as you get further away from the atmosphere, there’s less and less air to use to push yourself. ALSO HUMANS NEED AIR so like, the pilot would probably die that high up!!!
