It Almost Didn’t Work Out

As some of you know, dalton and emi were dating in a long distance relationship. There was a point when dalton went to visit emi in person when he was overwhelmed with the idea of turning around, and going home. Obviously things still worked out! The fear of taking a risk that will impact your entire life can was certainly felt in those moments.

The bit about cemetery trees reminded of Hungarian animated movie I’ve watched recently “White Plastic Sky”. It tells a story how everyone is dead (apocalypse) except people living in Budapest, who are turned to trees so their leafs could be picked and mushed into food so others could live. Issue is they blossom after few years, and the blossom is lethal to humans. Not sure why the story is so similar to your life. AGH!

LDRs can be hard to endure at times, I remember it was like that with my boyfriend at first. Nothing beats the feeling of seeing each other irl for the first time, it’s a bittersweet mixture of excitement and fear that’s hard to explain, but it’s so worth it in the end

talking about trees with multiple fruits
farmers do this thing called grafting where they cut off a stem or branch of a plant and they attach another plant’s branch onto the cut plant. the branches they attach fuses with the other plant and comes back to life and goes about like normal
