the bug books freaked me out as a kid and thats prob why bugs can make my skin crawl. the close up pictures just looked so scary and gross to me, that one spongebob ep about the butterfly def didnt help. as an adult my bug fear doesnt effect me as much, id just generally refrain from touching them. id say a lot of bugs arent even really scary anymore, some of them can even look kinda cute, but also a lot of them just look evil and awful to me i dont want them near me i dont want them touching me i dont wanna look at em lol
